The Farmhouse Store will be closing the North Ave location on Tuesday August 4th for 4 days, and re-opening in the new (twice the size, twice the cool merchandise) store at 221 East Broad Street (next to GAP) on Saturday August 8th at 10:00 am.

Michele's extraordinary felted wool hats are handmade, backstage at the Hilton Theater where she is currently starring in The New Mel Brooks Musical: Young Frankenstein.

Each amazing hat is signed and numbered by the artist. Meet Michele on her 'night off' and join us for wine & cheese Monday 12/8 from 6:00-8:00pm.

Renowned Boston studio artist Leigh Standley will be appearing at The Farmhouse Store on Saturday Sept. 20 from 11am-5pm.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Leigh began designing in seventh grade where she got poor marks in Math class for doodling. She went on to attend University of Kansas School of Design and holds a BFA in Visual Communications. Her work has been featured in national design publications and regional art shows, and is inspired by her incredible friends and family. Leigh has lived in Boston for six years and likes it so much she only occasionally wishes it were Paris.

She can't live without yoga, her family, Snickers and Lucy the Wonder Dog. She has strong feelings about education, believes in magic and is quite certain that:

"Given a nice cape and a tiara, she could save the world."
