Taste of the Towns is a unique dining experience that provides an ethnically diverse display of sumptuous cuisines from the area's finest chefs and restaurants. Add to this a wide variety of fine wines and desserts, and you have The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 7th Annual Taste of the Towns Extravaganza. This spectacular event will take place on Monday, June 5, 2006 at The Westwood in Garwood, NJ. Tickets are $50. Funds raised will benefit the Society?s research, patient services and education programs. Although leukemia survival rates have increased tremendously in the past thirty years, leukemia still kills more children between the ages of 2 and 14 than any other disease.
